It's a super special episode of the I'm Fat Podcast, as it's our first ever live recording. We did the show Saturday, September 25th at Homewood's annual Fall Fest. We judged some amazing some chili, sampled some of the local flavor and of course, got to all the fat news of the week!

This episode was a little off the rails, but it's been a wild week. The I'm Fat Burger and Pizza have become permanent menu items at Frato's, Taco Bell is testing a subscription service, and Jay has created (another) absurd monstrosity.

In the second episode of Between Two Fats, Jay and Rick welcome author Jennifer Billock. She is the author of Historic Chicago Bakeries and wrote a fascinating piece for Block Club Chicago, highlighting Chicago's society of bakers.

It was a tough week for Jay, as Arby's pulled the plug on his favorite menu item. Rick did a victory lap at Frato's and we've confirmed the awfulness of Almond Joy.

In the inaugural episode of our interview series, "Between Two Fats," Jay and Rick interview Jen Puente, CMO of the Wisconsin State Fair, on some of the incredible food items they'll offer this year.

In this episode, Jay and Rick review Popeye's new chicken nuggets, Salted Caramel Brownie Oreos and preview a new dessert treat, shipping to the fats soon. Jay also discovers a new burger hack.
